Champions for Kids Event at Club 5 on Sunday, May 4th

On Sunday, May 4th, at 9:00, Club 5 will be hosting an amateur drag show to benefit American Family Children's Hospital with special performances from Madison GLBT sports teams including: Volleyball, Madison Minotaurs Rugby Team, SSBL-Madison Softball League, MGHA Hockey League, Woof's Wednesday Night Men's Softball League, Shamrock Euchre League, MadWomen Tuesday Night Softball League, and Monday Night Dart League. 100 percent of the money raised will be donated. The benefit will be hosted by Miss Caroline featuring Madison’s Favorite Cheerleader Felicia MeltonSmyth. The event is sponsored by: Club 5, Shamrock Bar, Hookah Lounge, and Woof's. SSBL-Madison's first Miss Gay Madison Softball, Sharon Peters, will be performing for our league. Please come out and support this great event!

SSBL-Madison to Host 2009 ASANA World Series!

The week before Labor Day 2009, SSBL-Madison will host the Softball World Series for women's leagues from across the country! This event will bring hundreds of players and fans to our city. This event will require a tremendous commitment from our league and community. More information about planning and organizing will be sent out in the coming weeks! SSBL-Milwaukee will be hosting the NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series during the same time as us! Congratulations to their league as well!
